Jiddu Krishnamurti:

Ogni forma di meditazione porta inevitabilmente all’inganno, all’illusione, perché il desiderio acceca.

"The business today
is much more complex
than ten or twenty years ago"

Running a financial organization, never easy to begin with, has quickly become one of the most difficult leadership challenges that an executive can undertake, requiring mastery of talent management, change management, and ethics. An interview with Professor Boris Groysberg, who teaches a new HBS Executive Education program on the subject with Professor Paul M. Healy. Key concepts include:
  • Leading a financial firm is very different from leading any other kind of institution, requiring deep skills in a multitude of areas.
  • Financial firms make expensive bets on top talent, but often make hiring decisions without enough deliberation.
  • Risk management, strategy for growth, and competing in emerging markets are especially critical for financial firms to get right.

Creating a Global Business Code

In the wake of corporate scandals, many companies are looking more closely at how to manage business conduct worldwide. Realizing the complexity of this issue, Harvard Business School professors Rohit Deshpandé, Lynn S. Paine, and Joshua D. Margolis decided to evaluate standards of corporate conduct around the world—one of the most daunting research projects the three faculty have undertaken. Key concepts include:

  • The researchers found broad consensus among employees at four multinational corporations regarding the actions that constitute appropriate corporate behavior.
  • However, the researchers discovered a wide divergence in opinions between how employees thought a company should behave and how their company actually behaved.
  • People at the top of the organizational hierarchy generally have a more positive view of a company's ethics than those on the front lines.

... Illuminating the web of influence ...

" There is almost a sensual longing
for communion with others who have a large vision.

The immense fulfillment of the friendship
between those engaged in furthering
the evolution of consciousness
has a quality impossible to describe ".

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

It is time to move beyond the lone struggle for growth and to become social – inter-subjective – architects, working together to build a web of influence
that will serve the growth of everyone
involved and extend powerfully
into the world.

What Is The Evolutionary Collective?

The Evolutionary Collective (EC) is an incubator, an evolving container for shared consciousness and mutual development founded five years ago by Patricia Albere. The first ongoing EC is in its fourth year. In this new, shared consciousness of the Evolutionary Collective we discover new ways of being and relating together. And as we become aware of the subtle and profound ways that we are constantly affecting and influencing each other we learn how to act and interact with profound honesty, intention and integrity. In this way our relationships catalyze and sustain individual and collective growth and give rise to new forms of creativity and manifestation in the world.

Buddha

ci aiutano a radicarci,
a trovare il nostro centro
e assorbire energie sottili.

(B.K.S. Iyengar)
